Raspberry Pis and Arduinos use different size holes (M3 and M2.5), so I have to buy another box of standoff hardware. (All I have is M2, which worked okay for the Pi but is way too small for the Arduino.)

not sure how to discuss my new job with colleagues.

a lot of my coworkers are unhappy with their salary and I mentioned offhand to one that I was surprised that our current company was willing to match/beat my new company's offer, but now he wants to know exactly how much our current company offered me.

something tells me that this married father of 3 might get pissed if I tell him that our company offered me a $35k raise plus full-time working from home if I stayed... of course, the only real way to find out how much the company really values him is to get another job offer and let them counter (or otherwise threaten to walk away)

I think it's supposed to be a more marginally high-brow version of P&N.

used to be invite-only, wasn't it?

not entirely sure. saw a thread about circumsion and reflexively cringed. looked around a bit to get my bearings. couldn't find any threads describing what it is but the sticky guidelines post does have a discussion flowchart to keep things in order :awe:

Can only find 4 zip ties to secure the line to the ATT line outside the house.
Still have to hook the wire to the ATT box.
You're in luck, I just opened a bag of zip ties. How many do you need?

I used some to secure a temporary chicken wire fence to keep the scumbag neighbor lady from bringing her dog into our yard to shit. Not quite a first world problem but Arizona has never quite achieved first world status.

Forgot my trimmers at home. Had to trim my beard with the useless trimmer on the electric shaver.

Doing my taxes and one of my effing funds hasn't released a tax summary for distributions yet. Everyone else has, so the POS is holding me up...

I have a nice high end car audio subs and amp with box and no one in my area is interested to buy. Even have a good sales pitch. I wouldn't make anything back from using eBay trying to ship something that weighs over a 100lbs. Craigslist is full of meth heads and dumbasses that can't comprehend literal text or they think they can barter you down to a trade for a broken cell phone from 2008.
What happened to all the teens with jobs that had money to blow? damn kids today won't buy anything unless it's some anime crap or amibo ....sigh's is me.

It's taking too long to get my new tablet just right. This default keyboard blows. Installing a bunch of apps is bogging it down :(

^ maybe not. I recently plunged in a computer I'd not needed for a few weeks and it didn't boot... long story short after uninstalling everything but the CPU and video card and slowly re-introducing components (some of which worked at times some of which didn't) what looked at first like a bad ram slot turned to be NOTHING AT ALL.

Thats right, exactly the same config as when I first tried to boot just that every once in a while it got angry that I added something required me to take it out and put something else in.

Took an entire day to do my taxes... Now I have to double-check everything.

Going to file it despite missing some documentation. Worst case, I'm off $50 when I'm paying thousands. They can go eff themselves if they're going to come after me for that.

It's the penalties and interest that they'll come after you for.

I'm spending too much time this morning trying to find the right way to force the wife to take me to X for lunch instead of Y or Z. But other than that, drinking at 4AM makes it easier.

Too many choices of food at 5 AM. I think I may just head straight to school and get an early lunch today.
