Was "none of the above" one of the options in the security questions? Or do you think they had the wrong SSN and you got someone else's security questions?
Well English was not his first language so I was a little worried when he was asking me for my information. None of the above was my answer to all 3 questions. First question was how much is my mortgage payment (don’t have one). The last two were asking about who owns property in CA. The way he kept repeating the answer he wanted me to say Tim (my last name). But I have never heard of a Tim (my last name). He would not let me talk to a supervisor and said I had to call back. Tried to do live chat but that was either through FaceBook or X.

Yeah this is going to be fun.

Sounds like a real douche, patting himself on the back that he identified an impersonator. I used to have to call Western Union in my job. One of the verification questions was the name of the Western Union regional operations manager. Never had an issue until one day, this guy who almost sounded like a Russian with his weird accent, asks me the operations manager's name. I tell him. He goes, that's not the name. I told him, that IS the name and I've never had an issue getting through the verification process before.

His tone turns suddenly aggressive like that of a law enforcement officer and he's like, that is not the correct name and I will have to report this and hangs up the phone abruptly. If you know Western Union, they make you wait 10 to 15 minutes on an international call before someone is available to take the call. Confused and angry, I go through written notes I have regarding the Western Union verification process. I see that I've been telling them the first and last name but never the middle name. He hung up an expensive international call over someone not mentioning the middle name??? That DOUCHE!

So I have been planning the EU trip with the wife.. but thanks to Fed funding cut, kid's summer research ahs gone out the window.. so instead of EU, we are going to Japan. Still haven't booked hotel or airfare yet because the kid has a few things to get done before he could really tell us when he will be flying home.

*looking at airfare and hotel prices daily.. please don't go up more...

I called back to Transunion. Went through the whole thing again. This time I answered the security questions correctly. Now I know the method that Transunion uses for their security questions. The problem is that their customer service reps do not speak English very well and so it makes it very difficult to do it correctly. But that also may make it harder for someone to try and steal my credit.

Went through an in-person course for permit technician out of town over the last 2 days, but had to use ProctorU to take the test online. Was required to download the Guardian browser in order to use it. ProctorU requires that I test my equipment to ensure it works for the online proctored test. No dice last night at the hotel room, test kept saying my internet wasn't good enough, and that it couldn't connect to ProctorU. It wanted me to mess with firewall settings but I was on an unsecured network (the hotel's) and my hotspot was garbage because I couldn't get a good signal.

Woke up at 4am and drove home this morning. Messed with the damn thing again and kept getting the same msg. Went to customer support chat and dude said book the exam and when I'm ready to launch, I'll have to troubleshoot at that time. WTF?

I hate those floating chat buttons no matter where they are. I'm not here to make friends or "chat" with anyone. If I have to chat, your website failed, and an AI or ESL cs agent isn't gonna make my day any better. It's more likely I'll just find someone else that doesn't have a broken site, and deal with them.

Had an outpatient procedure on Friday and the stuff they used to put me under has rendered me super dumb. Forgot I had an assignment at school due yesterday, thought it was today. Oops.

Bought a pack of 25 Reese cups from Jeffs Bizarreathon for what I thought was a good price.

They're genuine ... but about half of normal size, so I guess I got a 12 1/2 pack instead.

The USPS, who routinely seems to screw me over, just returned my city tax refund request from last year with an "oops we damaged it" sticker. 3+ months later. It had to be postmarked last year, and there was of course no postmark. We're talking thousands of dollars. I am displeased.

I woke up at 2:55a.m. to see the lunar eclipse. Looked out a couple of my windows, saw nothing, and went back to sleep. :(

Got a reminder that it was time to switch my continuous glucose monitor for a fresh one last night around 830pm. Hopped in the shower so I could get all the adhesive off and put the new one on. I forgot that they sometimes will take around 24 hrs to properly calibrate and get acceptable readings compared to pricking my finger. I was kept up all last night because I would get alerts on my phone that my sugar was dropping like a rock, so I'd get up and have to prick my finger to calibrate it manually. Think I got around 3 hrs of sleep. Should've called in sick today.

I spent (wasted) 5 minutes debating with a MAGA who thinks MTG's far more intelligent than Jasmine Crocket. I'm pretty sure they were being honest, the level of racist you have to be to belive that shit is beyond me. Stupid doesn't even adequately describe MAGAs.

Every now and then the copy and paste function on my work computer just dies. There's also one app that will sometimes decide to time out every 5 minutes so you have to constantly log back in. It uses a super complicated 12 character password that is hard to type as it has very high complexity so it's always a pain to input it.

Well BOTH are happening tonight. Can't copy and paste and that app keeps timing out. At least it's my last one, so I will reboot after.

It's some weird glitch that happens once in a while. Rebooting fixes it, but a reboot takes a lot more effort than typing the password once an hour so I'll just put up with it.

The regular dark chocolate I eat, increased in price by 25 cents for the 5 pack. So now I'm gonna be $1.50 poorer every month and $18 lost every year :(

That's really obnoxious. One option for the future though: you can pay like a dollar or two to get a proof-of-mailing receipt if you ship it from the post office. I used to do this when I made estimated tax payments by mail, just to have proof of sending something if someone claimed otherwise.

Alas, all three post offices I went to during normal business hours were closed with no notice, warning, or signs. Just... closed. I should have gone to UPS instead of just dropping it in the drop box, but I was annoyed at that point. Hopefully I can still get my money back.

Free fillable forms won't send the email verification email so I can't start on my tax filing.

I ordered an Electric Car and it should be here in a little over 2 months. I contacted the electrician that I have used in the past. He moved his business to another county about 150 miles away. I can do some electrical work, but don't feel real comfortable running a 60 amp service to my garage.

I've been alive for 5 decades, and I apparently still don't know how to open a cereal box. There's an 88% chance when I "open" a new box I've mangled the top flap so badly there's no chance it'll ever close right. I will never not be extremely disappointed in myself when I do this

I had a neighbor that moved, they had some 120v to EV adapter thingy, you could look into that. But, I think they told me to charge from 20-80% would take a week or something.
