Sitting in the bed of my truck, star gazing cause no ambient light, my scrawny ass on the emergency wool blanket...and the power comes back on. Eff me.
Wait til your ancestry DNA comes back. The nutrition shop up the street is doing their weight loss/muscle challenge. I decided to join in. They do a full body scan using some fancy machine. Out of all the results the only one I was devastated by the only one I would have never thought. The stupid machine said I'm 5.9'1/2, since I finished growing I've thought I was 5'10 1/2. They assured me the machine was properly calibrated. I know we shrink as we get older, but I just turned 50 so I don't think I'm already losing height. And for whatever reason, when one asks I usually tell females I'm 5'11 LOL.
I've been living a lie my entire adult life!
You live in the right part of the world, tell these folks how rich I’m going to be:Shit, the wife had no TP upstairs. Bet these feminine hygiene products will work.
Says flushable.
Mine's defected....imagine that....I should get a discount for the growing bald spot.DNA is my barber.
In the middle of a YouTube video on my wired TV late yesterday it stopped working. Phone, iPad and X10 system said no internet. Power cycled router and modem. Asked Cox to reset modem. Nada. Router has had problems in the past so ordered a new one via Amazon for overnight 7-11am delivery. Luckily my iPad is also cellular so I was not really cut off. Internet light on router was lit.
This morning fired up PC and it had internet. Checked TV, cell, iPad and X10. All working. I think the router was afraid of being replaced. 😀
New router arrived. Will hang onto it as a reminder to the current one.
Grinding meat and bad smells are L&R, not P&N.P&N has invaded OT.
I bought the grinder attachment about thirty years ago but never used it. I think I can let it go now.I bought a meat grinder attachment for my kitchenaid mixer. Used it to grind up a bunch of roasts into ground beef. Turns out some liquid from the grinding leaked down the shaft of the grinder and into the mixer housing. Didnt notice this till the smell started.
My mixer and by extention my kitchen now smells like death. Ive been pouring water into the housing and trying to flush the nasty out of the mixer for days. The bottom of the gear area isnt easily removable and there is a cup shaped area for the nasty to hang out.
Not sure if im missing an o ring somewhere or what, but ive seen a few claims of this happening to others. Not sure if i just return the attachment and get a dedicated grinder now.
If i had to guess, you are probably safe. This looks like a newer mixer plus newer grinder problem. My inlaws have been grinding venison for years and never had this issue.I bought the grinder attachment about thirty years ago but never used it. I think I can let it go now.
I used a kitchen aid and grinder attachment here and there like twenty years ago and never had an issue, and had never heard of it either back then.If i had to guess, you are probably safe. Ha, a plot to get you sucked in.I've been waiting weeks for 3 separate orders from Home Depot, for some reason they're coming from the states so it's been a long trek to get here. Got the notice that the orders are available for pickup, so I go, and they told me to come back tomorrow, because they're in the back and the workers that work in the back are done for the day. The box is literally sitting in the building that I'm standing in, yet I have to go back tomorrow to get it. I get it, the guy is not going to leave the front desk to go check the back, but it is annoying that they tell me it's ready for pickup when it's actually not. Surely they could have sent another worker to go look for it. I'll wait.
I ended up leaving there after buying $100 worth of stuff so guess the trip was not wasted. Hardware stores will do that.
