Google for their obit, then send the widow a bill for outstanding dues dating back to 11 month before death.

I was canceling my bi yearly free Amazon Prime offering before I forgot and they charged me. And after I clicked cancel I was too quick and closed out of the window before my brain had processed there had been a small message on the screen offering me another free month if I clicked here. I went back and the link was gone, and reenabling Prime and canceling it again didn't make the offer come back.

So now I'm either going to have to pay for Prime, wait for my packages like a peasent, or wait and hope they offer me another free month sometime soon.

this is not a FWP, at most it's a peasant problem.

My mortgage renews in September, and new interest rate is going to be 6.19% which is almost double my current rate of 3.5%

It looks like it will be paid off in 5 years either way though, so guess it's not a huge difference in grand scheme of things. I had originally calculated 5 years at my current rate. The payment is going up a bit so I assume it compensates for the interest.

Can't really be mad at the higher interest rate though, increasing it is about the only good thing the government has done to try to fight inflation. All my bills and costs of living going up is a much larger impact than the mortgage payment going up a little.

I just want to delete my shop pay account altogether and it's like impossible. I am sick of everytime I checkout of a storefront that uses it, it automatically pops up when I put my email in and texts me a code. I DON'T WANT TO USE SHOP PAY I JUST WANT TO USE MY CARD OR PAYPAL ACCOUNT AND YOUR APP SUCKS TOO!

There is literally no cancel/delete anywhere on your account on the web.

I spent way too long deleting all of my twitter accounts. Including the one I setup for private push notification from my servers and the other I used for getting screenshots off of my PS4 quickly

That'll be $10. I only accept Shop Pay, though...

The next one wasn’t much better: “A man can fail many times, but he isn’t a failure until he gives up.”

My favorite that I got once, "Digital circuits are made from analog parts."
I mean, digital signals are just fast switching analog voltages when you think about it. The faster the signals get the more "analog" they look, a 6GHz video feed isn't anywhere close to s square wave.

Temp is dropping and trying not to run the furnace. I think this week I'm going to just finish the wood stove chimney myself because my installer keeps bailing on me. Been almost a year!

Running a small electric heater right now off solar, it's only really good to do one room though. I can get away with that at this time of year since the sun is still out.

Something started beeping next to my bed about 2AM this morning. I'm, "what's that???" Both smartphones there were turned off. I had a couple of digital battery operated clock/timers. 1/2 hour later it happened again. This never happened before. I determined which clock/timer it was and removed it to another room and tried to get back to sleep (rats!). When I finally got up, I checked out the device, couldn't figure out why it had beeped. I hadn't changed anything. I removed the CR2032 battery to reset it to defaults and reset the time, date, etc. I don't know if I have the instructions somewhere. It doesn't show a brand name, so it would be hard to identify or download instructions. I had two of these (off Ebay) but somebody stole one from off my front porch. :(
