Any normal names messed up, like:

Khyryys for Chris
Kevyn for Kevin
Dhayvid for David

Something stupid like those.

Heh, that reminds me. The most annoying person I know is named Josiah. I'd have to add that to the list.

Most of the Ricks and Davids I know are that way, but obviously I can't generalize beyond my personal experience

Doug tops my list of idiots names. I know some people named Doug are really smart, but there was one Doug I knew freshman year of college...he was a complete moron and a jackass to boot. Ever since then, I've figured most people named Doug can't be too bright.

I have a vague theory in which I believe people's first names make a considerable impression on how they portray themselves, as well as how others react to them. For example, how seriously would you take a resume for a senior vice-president position if the guy was named Bozo? Just an example - let's talk normal names.

Okay...in my mind, anyone named Dustin is pretty much guaranteed a life of unfulfillment. I think this sprung from watching the infamous "Screech", aka Dustin Diamond.

I think there's some truth to the theory, but mainly because parents in similar social classes tend to name their children the same. For example among Koreans (and possibly other Asians) there is an odd propensity to name their kids names like Eugene and Grace. Looking at sorority's roster you'll see a bunch of boring middle-class names like Jennifer and Lindsey (and a bunch of spelling variations).

Dustin tends to be a prole name (poor kid with the rattail)

I know of one couple that tends to name their kids names that start with "K" - so now we have:
  • Kurtis
  • Karter
I will feel sorry for those little kids when they get older and have to live with those misspellings all their life. :(

Oh, and from personal experience, anyone named "Johnny" will be a redneck (no offense intended to anyone named John or Jonathon).
