When I got my car ('95 Geo Prizm), I thought it was cool that you could lock or unlock all four doors at once by turning the key twice in the driver's side, and once in the passenger's side. Now I just wish I had remote keyless entry. :p

My car also has a holder on the gas tank door for the filler cap. My parent's old car, a 198x Oldsmobile, actually had the filler cap hidden behind a hinged rear license plate. That was neat.

AC is a must down here. That's no extra feature.

I'm going to go with power steering.

Cargo net. Hey, I drive a Civic, that's as extra as it gets.

My vote for worst "extra feature" ever is the third sun visor in Passats - it flips down and covers the area above the mirror.

The keypad to unlock the doors/pop the trunk. No, I don't mean the remote entry thing. Car has a little numeric pad on the driver's door that will unlock/lock the doors or pop the truck with a given key sequence. It sounds stupid, but it's so nice not to have to fish in my pocket for my keys when I just want to grab a pen from my car, or to be able to leave the car running to warm up on a cold morning and still have it locked. Plus, I can never lock my keys in my car because of this.

.. I have the 2004 Honda Civic DX, most basic edition. I have no special features. No power windows. No power locks. Nothing. I guess AC would be one, since I had to add that on special, so yes, we'll say AC.
