I see the term PC used a lot. To me it means encouraging people not to sound or behave like bigoted asses. What does it mean to you?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I've never actually met anybody who is offended by anything, only people who think others will be.

Everybody hates PC... but they're scared that if they aren't PC, they'll be attacked by thousands of middle age, upper class women.... who seem to be the ones perpetuating the PC crap. Yeah, that wasn't PC, suck it!Originally posted by: HEMIFREAKI've said it before, and I'll say it again,I couldn't care LESS of what others thinkOriginally posted by: MacBaineI've said it before, and I'll say it again. Is going out of your way not to insult someone so hard to do?

wait, wait, so you wouldnt go out of your way to bathe, wear deoderant
im sure around some circles the noxious oders emanating from your body is a comfortable and homely expression of comaraderie but you probably try to look clean and professional in places like work
that same logic should extend to what you say or do right?
now saying there will always be some people offended so you shouldn't try to be PC is as weak as those people who get offended by everything. PC was meant to be just another form of civility (right word) conduct, Polite Correctness rather than Political, at least thats how i see it.
Only in purely idealistic form. The way it works in real life is more; Do unto others only stuff which cannot be interpreted as offensive.Originally posted by: Carbonyl
