Denver's offense wasn't very good last night. When it comes down to it, it was NE's offense/DEN's D that basically got them their first 17 points. A FUM recovery for a TD, a strip sack to put them on the NE 10 that got them a TD, and another FUM recovery and run back to NE's 33 that they ended up settling for a FG. Their only decent 1st half offensive series was in the 2nd QT when they started at their 30 and ended with a TD. After that, they didn't have another good offensive series until the 4th quarter when they drove from their 20 to tie it at 31.

Moreno has a stellar night because he basically was the entire DEN offense and then they'd stall out once he needed a breather.

Granted I fell asleep in the 3rd quarter, but last I knew Denver had to change coverage schemes because they were already down something like 4 or so DB's and Brady was just picking them apart. "Next Man Up" can only get you so far.

Sure, Manning was having a horrible game by his standards too. The only offensive star on Denver seemed to be Moreno last night. But it seemed to come down to injuries killing the Denver D.

Oh yeah, Rogers-Cromartie... Did he really have to jump after that int? Is that stat really that important.

And if NE lost, you would have been gloating about how Manning is better than Brady even when Manning at any time could have changed the play and thrown the ball last night. Too cold and windy for him, I guess.

Manning is better than Brady, but that isn't what we're discussing. Do keep up.

When it gets too cold old man Manning has to wear gloves just to get the ball 10 yards down the field. Manning didn't even show up last night, half of his team's points were turnovers within 20 yards of the endzone and the other half was just Knowshon Moreno crushing, might as well have snapped the ball to Moreno.

This game told everyone everything we need to know about which QB is going to be winning games come January.

Not saying Manning isn't great, just saying he isn't winning a super bowl this year, as usual. Typical Manning.

How's that 3:1 Super Bowl championships working out for Manning? Even his shit brother has more than him.

Very true. And who did his "shit" brother beat BOTH TIMES? LOL!!!

Since Eli Manning is 2-0 against Tom Brady in Super Bowls, that means Eli Manning is the better QB. Just using PatsFan (tm) logic.

18 and DOH! People will be laughing about that in 100 years.

Can the NFL add "Aaron Rodgers may not grow a moustache" to it's dress code or code of conduct or something? Because it is just terrible 🙁

Also that gif of Brady/Gronkowski is hilarious lol, it's like it's not even him.

The Broncos don't have the D to win the SB and Manning's arm strength is probably too diminished to throw in January.

Brady's best chance to win in years is this year -- he won't have the chance to choke against the Ravens and Giants again.

In New England we pretend 2007 never happened.

I'm sure you do.

I was on business in New England after the Patriots chea...errr, uh, I mean BEAT the Rams in the Super Bowl. I can still remember all of the "Patriots fans" bashing Tom Brady and saying he was a one-hit wonder and Bledsoe would reclaim the team the following year. GREAT loyalty!

Consider that half the fans during 2001 were just hopping on the bandwagon. I agree however, disgusting. There are loyal fans out there though. It's just that 2007 was the most painful thing to watch in my entire life. :'(

Sorry to hear that, but I'm sure you'll forgive me if I tell you that my brother and I were literally rolling on the floor laughing.

Movember and I don't think he does much with shaving until the off season?

Sure. Too bad Manning decided to go play on a team without a dome.

Yeah, it sucks he'll never have the chance to go 18-0 and then lose in the Super Bowl as a prohibitive, historical favorite.

You're right b/c he would lose before having the opportunity. That below .500 playoff record and most one and done in the playoffs doesn't bode well for him to ever do that.

All this lovely discussion and our own drunk amd hasn't even stopped by yet.

Think this showed that mannings arm never fully healed after the nerve problem. He may be able to make all the route throws in perfect conditions without a defender driving, but real world games his pass attempt yardage is really hurting.

He's also 37 years old. Only 4 quarterbacks have ever won a Super Bowl at 37 or older (Elway won it at 37 and again at 38). The average age of Super Bowl winning quarterbacks is 29.8. Peyton benefits somewhat from never being a particularly athletic guy, so age or injury don't force him to change his game, but his throwing accuracy and power definitely aren't on par with his peak seasons. He's floating a lot of balls this year... That's got to be troubling for Broncos fans, all records aside.
