Anyone who can only drink some weird ass homebrew/microbrew and thinks stuff like Budweiser "tastes like piss" is a pussy. It's likely they're elitist in food and other things too. Big pussy.

I drink Miller Lite and still avoid Bud.

Just me I guess, personal preference.

To each his own.

Don't usually go for beer. I usually end up drinking some at LAN parties, and it's typically either Blue Moon or Stella Artois.

I'd say it's more worrisome that they know what piss taste's like. But, if I was to imagine what piss tasted like, I would guess that it tastes like warm flat bud light.

This guy knows.... 😵

It took a while, but i became a beer snob.

It's incredibly hard for me to not say something when a person i know orders some shit like Molson Canadian or Coors or Budweiser.

Mainstream shit beer...i just don't know why people buy it when there are countless amazing craft brews available these days.

I also judge restaurants with garbage beer very harshly. A good restaurant should have good beer; if they don't, they probably aren't a good restaurant. 🙄

The quality of your bad habits says something about you. Some bad habits are social like beer, food, clothes etc. Some are individual like computers, cars, sound systems, home theaters etc. What's important is the effort, time and, research you put into your bad habits.

Beer is gross

Says someone who's only ever drank bad beer. Beer can be fruity, sweet, chocolaty, sour, herbal, astringent, piney or, spicy. There are also combinations and infinite variety. I can fade you out or bring you crystal clarity. Labeling all beer as "gross" merely demonstrates a lack of experience.

Can you make a recommendation list? I tend to try all sorts of weird brews and they fail to live up to their reputation.

It says the same thing as the company he keeps - he knows what he likes and enjoys.

If you look down on someone for what they're consuming, perhaps you should reflect upon your own life and what causes you to do that.

Or they have taste buds and know they taste like shit. I have never met anyone that drank that stuff for a reason other then being cheap.

I like spicy, sweet and light flavored beers. I can't seem to like the harsh beers for some reason. It might sound lame 😵

You should clarify "harsh" - are you talking bitter, thick, alcohol "bite", etc?

Spicy and sweet lean more towards a Belgian Wit style - light, though - perhaps more towards a pilsner, which is pretty clean.

Budweiser has no taste, nor do most generic American lagers. I don't know how much they use in terms of hops, but they really don't lend anything to the beer and nor does the rice lend any mouthfeel or sweetness.

But if people like it, that's cool - drink what you want.

You just sound like a dick because you don't think people should enjoy something you don't.

Yeah, its the harsh bite of the bitter alcohol flavor. I don't know what it is but I can't stand it. I can drink all sorts of hard liquor but the beer flavor is too much for me.

You just described two different things.

Bitter is derived from hops - largely noticeable in Pale Ales, IPAs, DIPAs, pilsners, some porters.

Alcohol "bite" is that - the burn from anything that is above 9-10% (most people are subjective but this is generalized) and has not been balanced very well. Or from barrel-aged beers.

What do you like? That's the best way to give you suggestions.

I like to drink beer if I'm going to say have to pick up my frig and lift it over the top of a 3 foot counter or the back of my car to get it in a tight parallel spot.
