At work it's either side salad, fruit, sometimes yogurt with fruit and granola, or mixed nuts, or soup if they have the butternut squash

Roasted brussell sprouts if available. I'd eat them with every meal if it didn't get me funny looks.

Nothing, because you never give up french fries. My half-Irish side would disown me if I gave them up! D:

There is no substitute for french fries. You can eat something else, but in your heart you know that it's not as good.

Wild & brown rice is about the only thing that will work for me.

Sweet, baked, or mashed potatoes are ok too.

I don't think I've ever had a place offer me that but if they did I would totally take it. Pancetta roasted Brussels sprouts are amazing.

Jay on Modern Family:

Give me the biggest cheeseburger you have. Instead of salad, I want fries, and instead of fruit, chilli fries.

If I had to make a substitution, I'd go for onion rings. Otherwise, the only substitution for fries is MORE FRIES.

Yes, sadly it's very uncommon. We make them out home 2-3 nights out of the week. Trader Joe's has packs of them for dirt cheap. Just toss in some olive oil, salt, and pepper and roast at 350F for 15 or so minutes. NOOOOOOOOOOOM.
