What do you think of when you hear "Garibaldi"??

I'm sitting here doing my Western Civ homework and stumble upon the name Giuseppe Garibaldi, who helped kick some Austrian a$$ for Italy.

I read the name Garibaldi and thought it sounded familar. Where have I heard it before? I remember saying it to myself over and over again and just cannot think of where I heard it!!

It's driving me crazy!

lol...I've never heard of that 😉

For some reason I'm thinking it has something to do with a video game??

I searched on Google but didn't turn up anything.

edit: it HAS to be the name of a place somewhere in a video game. Whether it be a town or what not

SSX TRICKY!!

There's a track on there called Garibaldi, though I'm not positive if the spelling is the same.

I just remember the lady saying "Garibladi" when you choose what track you want to race in.

Ok, now i can get back to my homework. 😱

There was once a spit of land near Tillamook Oregon with a Town called Garabaldi on it, sometime in the early 20th centrury a large strom erased it. The spit and the town no longer exist.

Opps... Just did a web search on Garibaldi Oregon, it is still a thriving town, perhaps the spit had something like a resort that got washed away. I can find no referance to it.

i had a math professor here at ucla, his last name was garibaldi.... damn good math teacher, prob'ly one of the best i've ever had (so far)
