Opps... Just did a web search on Garibaldi Oregon, it is still a thriving town, perhaps the spit had something like a resort that got washed away. I can find no referance to it.
Yep, Garibaldi's still there.
The town you're thinking of was Bay Ocean, OR

Which, in Intel fashion, was named after the tiny town of Garibaldi, OR.

We have a very cool place in Mexico city downtown. The neighborhood is called "Garibaldi", and you can get the mariachis to sing all that you want.... you can even take them with you for a serenata to a lady.... ;)

We had also a pop music group (I guess we still have it) called Garibaldi. It had some of the hottest girls in the music enviroment :D

There's a track on there called Garibaldi, though I'm not positive if the spelling is the same.

I just remember the lady saying "Garibladi" when you choose what track you want to race in.

Ok, now i can get back to my homework.

HAHA that's where I heard it from, It was annoying me that I couldn't remember either! HA!

Babylon 5, I wasn't a fan of the show, but for some reason I remember the name from one of the 2-3 times I watched it.
