Learn how to manage your weight by using your mind to affect your body. Studies show that every thought has an effect in our bodies, and by the same token every change in our body has an effect on how and what we are thinking. In the first session we will look at our deepest desires and discuss a well-balanced nutritional program for mind, body & spirit. The rest of the week we will work on developing our attitudes to complement our success and learn a new way of thinking, taking us away from past self-criticism and judgment. We will learn that eating less never worked in the past and never will contribute to weight loss management. We will take a look at the reasons we eat (boredom, emotions, habit). The answers will be revealed from deep within.

Although his writings are based on universal truths, therefore are valid in some ways, I think he himself as a guru is not overly convincing.
For one thing, he seems to be materialistic, more caught up in his own persona and selling books then reaching spiritual heights. He also seems to be rehashing eastern spiritual ideas into accessible new age books that appeal to a large hungry western audience. That said, you don't have to be enlightened to write a book that can help others. I think his books have helped people get interested in the path, so overall he is a good person, who has helped others, and made a lot of money while doing so. But there are alot more interesting teachers to read.
