forklift! I got an old forklift for $500 that needs a little work but runs. I just unloaded a couple of 200# trailer axles, and loaded a washing machine into my 4x4 truck.
4x4 truck! Get one of those!
Squirrel!

My buddy got a bobcat back about ten years ago, it's been incredibly useful...soooooo many attachments.

I had a little utility tractor with a front end loader for a few years. I *found* reasons to use it because it was so fun mess around with.

Being a moderator, objecting on someone's personal life experiences in a way to simply demotivate them doesn't fits on you. You should either encourage people or else if you don't agree with Whateva someone is saying, then better keep silent instead of speaking badly with other to hurt them!
I was here to share about what my life is and how someone can spend money to make their life better with money from my experiences!
You are new here, so let me clue you in. When I post in a thread, as a member, I am like any other member. Using my moderation status against me, when I am posting as a member is a violation of forum rules. https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/anandtech-forum-guidelines.60552/ I suggest you read them, so you have a firm understanding.

When acting in an official capacity we make it very clear we are doing so; we use our titles in the response, and the responses are in bold.

Also, you are more than welcome to share your opinions and life experiences. As are the rest of us. Welcome to the internet.

Ok but you need to fix the <br> in your title. that's distracting.
I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

No seriously, since the forum switch my super powers are gone, and the title area has been borked. I do not have the ability to change. I suppose I could ask the higher ups to give me back my powers, and fix my title, but I am ambivalent about it.

Huh. Suckage.

Back on topic - I also eat out more than I did when I was poor. And I don't mean ur mom.

Convenience is worth money.

A larger psu. Man, that's another thrill for a day for sure. Gives me that satisfaction, the feeling of pure power and makes me think of victory! But I'm at 1275W (Thermaltake Toughpower XT TP-1275AH3CCP ATX12V & EPS12V) and know that the next bump could be the end of the line.

If you experience an erection lasting more than 4 kilowatt-hours, consult a doctor.

Honestly, just going out for a nice dinner makes me happy as a clam. Being able to afford to do that, even better!

Convenience is worth money.

I was so against this idea throughout college - I wanted to do everything myself, from cooking to lawncare to Linux servers. Then I got into the real world, realized that my time & budget was limited, and most importantly, that my energy was limited, so I had to learn how to be more selective & learn how to delegate. It's funny browsing through my old posts from 10 or 12 years ago & seeing how my perspective has shifted over time...I'd much rather pay for Barracuda or Sonicwall than cobble together my own solution now, or realize that it's okay to pay the neighbor kid from down the street to mow my lawn & that I'm not a lazy, irresponsible human being for not doing it myself, haha. #firstworldguilt

Lately, what I consider to be great chocolate (hint: not always the most expensive, because I don't like a lot of that stuff).

I tend to spend money on technology. I don't go overboard with it, but a quality well researched tech purchase warms my heart.

I like to eat well, and prepare almost all my own food. Being a human who eats daily, this is an ongoing project. As time goes on I have been thinking eat healthy, but of course, I want to enjoy my food.

Sometimes you have to let discouraging or disparaging posts go by you without getting depressed about them. It's a downside to forums. People get careless or cavalier and can be insensitive to people's feelings. Of course, some of the posters here can be trusted, but you should always be aware that some posters cannot be trusted.

Forklists are a blast. I always had fun on jobs where I got to drive a forklift. Never did it enough to get tired of it, that probably helps. Maybe I should indeed get a 4x4 truck. 🙂
