What do you spend your money on to make your life better?

I've been thinking about getting a big roasting pan and big stock pot. It's been a couple years now but i'm ready to buy these things.

Vacationing or housing is really the major things that can add to the quality of life imo. Junk at wal mart or best buy is just that. Junk.

I guess a rice cooker would improve my life too.

Shit, I'm almost 50 and I don't own a rice cooker. Near as I can tell, only Asians buy them.

I just use a medium sauce pan with a tight fitting lid. Takes exactly the same amount of time to cook. If you can boil water and master the skill of operating a timer, you can cook rice.

Clearly you are new to the internet...you have not lived life if you do not use a rice cooker to make your rice.

<---- am not aware that I have ever eaten rice made in a rice cooker

Beer, but not that shit that comes in packs of 24. I spend about fifty bucks every other week on it, and I always have a decent selection on hand. I also have dogs and a nice bicycle.

Oh and of course I'm a gozillionaire with a yacht that's always in or on the way to either the Mediterranean or the Caribbean.

You never had rice from.a restaurant or fast food place?

Tastes the same as rice cooked in a covered sauce pan over a burner.

By the way, where I work we have a cafeteria that serves hundreds, and they make plenty of rice dishes, but they cook it in large pans over heat. Not a rice cooker.

Yeah, this thread is now about rice cookers... 🙂
