My wife and I just went thru the same thing. And yup, she got um. I didn't think she needed anything but she kept insisting. Eventually I said fine just do what you want to do. We made sure that we went to a few doctors to see which one she liked and that she was comfortable would do a good job.

She had them done on May 10th and for the most part everything has been going fine. We did pay a bit more that we could have if we would have went with a different doctor, but this is something we didn't want to skimp on. She still takes a lot of meds, mostly antibiotics, and is sore. But nothing too bad. That first week post-op is a doozy though.

They look good, but don't feel the same. It is still very early in the game and they will change. The doctor told us that this is a minimum 8 month process for everything to look and feel the way they will permanently. Overall I would say that I'm happy. But more importantly she is very happy. It definitely boosted her self esteem and she says her clothes fit better. She didn't go huge so no one other than the people she has told have even noticed. Or if they did they aren't saying anything.

My advice, see many doctors and choose the best one and tell her to research before hand. There are many forums where she can find tons of great info. All the research really helped my wife be prepared for everything that was about to happen. Good luck!

I think geekbabe mentioned something about womans clothing trends. I think it's incredibly vain to undergo a surgical procedure in order to better fit into contemporary clothing. Women claim it's "all for them, and how they feel" and I find that very sad and troubling. I'm sure there are many men out there that are not very well endowed, but I don't see a huge increase in the popularity of penis enlargement surgery.

Either way you should be supportive and participate in the process, but you should also voice your concerns. I'm willing to bet she will get her way.

The general public isnt able to even get a rough idea of your penis size by observing you in clothing not the same thing with breasts.

And tit size isn't a huge factor in your sexual ability. I won't pretend to know whether women obsess about their breast size more then men obsess about their penis size. But judging by the amount of penis enlargement pills and the like out there I'd wager a guess its at least as much of a obsession.

Maybe it's nothing but my fear would be that if she is unhappy about her appearance then it won't stop there. If she goes through with it be supportive but if she starts talking about something else she needs to watch the Opra show I seen advertise about people addicted changing their body.

Well, I figure I'd provide an update.. We've been talking about it and I'm going to support her decision either way. Right now she's about 99.5% sure she wants to do this but the final deciding factor will be based on how the consults go.... The first one is set up for Sept 22nd and there are other Docs we're researching as well

I was going to say ask this man. Fake breasts are just that, fake. I wouldn't do it, seems a bit too much of a useless waste of money. Self esteem ftw.
