Until recently I used to run my E4400 @ 3GHz stock volts... but then I realised I hardly ever need that much CPU power! LOL
I'm mainly a gamer and most of the games I play are more GPU bound.
So now I run my E4400 @ 2.35GHz @
1.07V! It's literally stone cold, it could probably be passively cooled!
If I'm ever in the need of more CPU speed I can easily use programs like Asus AI Suite/Clockgen in to bump up the Vcore/FSB without having to reboot, but I'm loving the power efficiency at this point.
