What do you rate AT members on?

When rating an AT member, how do you rate them? I often do it positively on the sensibility of advice (especially regarding safety on drugs, alcohol, or sex) that they give to other members, the thought and obejctiveness of their posts, and their attitude towards other people of differing opinions. I rate negatively on people who get just flat out rude and insulting, or who invite flames. And, of course, get to know the person's general M.O. before rating them at all.

What criteria do you use in choosing rating? Do you rate high when a person shares your opinion and low when they argue it? Do you rate nefs high or low?

i thought it was more designed for the fs/ft forum...

i dont really rate people that often unless they do something really good or really bad that stands out.
 
I generally rate them on what kind of advice they give too. I also rate them high if they are helpful or are a good trader in the FS/FT forums.

BTW: thats a 10 for you for not being one of those people that just rates people for the heck of it.
 
Most people rate 1 because they're too lazy to pull down the menu and select another option. Stop being lazy you nutty screw balls!!
 
I rate them after I've talked to them or worked with them (or after they've posted something seriously extreme, either way). I rate them on what the general idea I get from them is. If they're lowlife, I rate low. If they're noble and good, I rate high.

well i have a crappy rating . and i got it after posting a joke. it was a short film i made, 30 seconds. it was mainly posted for a friend of mine. it doesnt make to much sense. and bamn i had a 1 rating. ratings are a joke in this forum. but if someone helps me or makes a big contrabution ill give them i 10.

They could solve the whole "is 1 the best or is 10?" problem by removing the pulldown and replacing it with two radio buttons - "Good" and "Bad". Does anyone really use anything other than 1 or 10?
