i thought the pickle and peppers went in the bun :hmm:

Chilidogs are also allowed, Especially if from Portillos.

That is a Chicago dog. It is from Portillo's, which is pretty much the definition of what a Chicago dog should be. I have seen the counter people refuse to write +K (add Ketchup) if someone over 13 asks for it. They make you put it on yourself. THAT is awesome.

I'm very well aware of that and was just giving props to the chicago dog originally posted in the thread as well. 😉

My favorite has always been from Weiner Circle on Clark. I haven't tried all the other one's, but WC was my first chicago dog and has a special place in my heart (and arteries.)

Typically just mustard.

A couple weeks ago, I did have one topped with pulled pork, bbq sauce and cole slaw, which was fantastic.

Isn't it the same thing? Yummy Watties tomato sauce!!!

Edit: Tomatoe paste for spaghetti? Inano, I dont cook.

no.. not the same thing 😛

this is ketchup... you use it on french fries, burgers, and apparently hot dogs.
