This thread made me hungry.... I'm going to the fridge and defrost 2 Johnsonville brats and do a couple up. Unfortunately all I have is red kraut but I'll live.

I rarely eat hot dogs. I guess it depends on the hot dog style, big sausage or just those shitty small ones.. The small ones I just do mustard ketchup relish type deal.

The sausages I like sauerkraut or onions and that type of stuff.

I've never heard of mayo on a hot dog. I'm not sure I'd like that.

me either, but apparently that Sonora style uses mayo:

The Sonoran hot dog, found in Tucson, Metro Phoenix, and in neighboring Sonora, Mexico, is a hot dog grilled in a processor or on a griddle, wrapped in Mesquite-smoked bacon, topped with freshly-chopped tomatoes, onions, shredded yellow or cotijo cheese, tomatillo salsa or red chili sauce, pinto beans, mayonnaise, ketchup and/or mustard, and served on bread. Often served with a fresh-roasted chili.

Daikon, bonito, and wasabi mayo! :awe:

I'll have pretty much anything except ketchup on a hot dog. Ketchup is a vile concoction that should be stricken from this Earth.
