Don't you people realize it's inefficient to keep your keys in your left pocket?

Switch it out with your wallet. The keys require 1 hand (your right) to operate properly (even if you're left handed). The wallet requires two hands (unlike that other thing in your pants, loser).

I am left-handed and only use my keys in my right hand to START my car. I open my house, work and car doors with my left hand (car via remote, btw). Besides, by the time I am IN my car, the keys are already out of any pocket, so it does not matter where they started.

If they're pointed down they're dangerous...and mechanical pencils still have kind of a pointed tip (at least the bic ones)...

front left: keys, flash drive, garage clicker (on bike today)
front right: eyedrops, Kershaw pocketknife clipped to pocket
left rear: slimmy wallet
right rear: nothing
right belt: SK2

Lighter -------Weiner---------Cell, keys.
Nothing-------Ahole-----------Wallet.

Belt: Multitool
Cargo pockets: pens, pencils, machinist rule, gum, random crap.

Start off with the back pockets first:

left: keys
right: wallet

Now the front may switch around (still haven't found a comfortable spot): iPod and phone.

Sometimes, I may carry a bag, and dump everything in there, except a little bit of loose change in one of my pockets.

Left pocket, keys
Right pocket, small note paper, yet to be trashed receipts, pen/mech pencil, cell phone (if I am wearing cargo with that small pocket)

bus pass, mechanical pencil, and tissue. the bus pass and pencil stay in my pocket whenever i'm not using them, and i mean all of the time.

nothing really, pack of papers when im using them. wallet resides in jacket 99% of the time, keys in jacket. usually a pen at work in either pocket 😀

left: cell phone, work keys, sometimes change.
right: pocket knife (usually clipped and resting inside poclet), chapstick (in winter) car keys
