Jesus Christ you look young. I am only 25 and you look young to me.

BTW: Congratulations. Did you do all the photography digitally?

I'm 24 and look 18. I had three photographers (all friends). One was digital, one was 35mm camera, but had a photo cd made, and one was another 35mm camera that I scanned the prints. It took a while to scan 8 rolls worth of film :Q

SCSIfreek, it was by coincidence 😉 that I look like my avatar. Instead of providing pics, I should just refer to it.

lowtech, is there a way to further enhance those pics on Photoshop? I have sharpened the images and adjusted the contrast to get the best image.
You can try to adjust the contrast, but the shadow area is lost for ever, because it wasn't recorded by the film or in data format. Intial photography is the key, how ever you can try a bit of adjusting contrast and/or dogging & burning in photoshop to see if it help. The site is a nice start, you have a nice lay out & colour scheme. Are you using some kind of software to create it or just straight html. (I still design lay out with straight HTML & javascript...too lazy to learn the tools)

I installed a gallery, customized the layout and colors, and voila!

Traditionally pro photographer shoot about 10-12 rolls of 36 exp of 35mm for prewedding/ceramony/party...and they hope to have 1/7 to 1/10 of it are really good shots. It is not the exposure that photographers worry about (they all have that down pat), but what they are worry about is how to get enought good shots with everyone have their eyes open, mouth close, smilling, etc.... And then there are photographer like me keep a third or 4th camera loaded with B&W or colour film for the funny shots that make the wedding more memorable.

It would be nice if you can have the candit shot section for your site, because that is were you will get the hits.

Oops!.....just notice that you have a candit section.

Thanks, I have to give that a try.

did you find that the day just flew by? we did. had to take a moment to just sit back and take everything in.

congratulations! the wedding looks like it was great fun! as they say, i hope it is the worst day of the rest of your life 🙂

yeah, the day went by so fast! Here's a funny story that I just remembered. I checked my Yahoo card statement last week and saw that I was double-charged ($224 & $300) for the wedding night hotel room (we stayed in a bed&breakfast). It should've just been $224. Anyway, I called and spoke to the owner. He informed me that the charges were indeed correct because I checked in with two girls that day, left in the middle of the night, and stole two bathrobes.

I told him that I checked in that morning with my best man (so I can get the room keys and go straight to the room that night), we stayed all night and had breakfast, and did not steal any bathrobes. I had him check his records again, and he called me back the next day, apologizing profusely. Apparently, he switched my CC with someone else's.

He offered to make it up by giving us a free night's stay on him. I took him up on it and will go sometime in the future.

lol

anything funny happen at the wedding? at one point during our ceremony the priest stands in front of me and bride and says to me "repeat after me". unfortunately, all i hear is "it's time for the rings part so don't screw up". so he starts saying the bride's name and all i'm thinking is "dang rings, better not drop them, why isn't she answering the priest? man, am i supposed to put the rings on yet? i can't believe she's not answering the priest. clearly, he's speaking to her." i even looked up at the priest then at my wife wondering why she wasn't saying anything. i figure oh well i've got my own problem with these rings so i get back to fumbling with them and her finger. the priest continues to say bride's name when suddenly something hits me in the back and i realize something's wrong. the best man was trying to get my attention for some reason. so i look up at my wife and she gestures to me with her other hand like "come on" just as the priest slow says my wife's name.

at which point i finally say her name. the video is priceless.

ya, during the part when our pastor had us repeat our vows to each other. As he says it to Carolyn for her to repeat it, she looked startled and chuckled out a "What?!?". Apparently, she forgot what to say and everyone had a laugh.

A good portion of the wedding pics shows my eyes closed because I blinked a lot with the camera flashing and dry contacts.
