my wife and i got engaged 27 jan 2001 and got married 24 nov 2001 and even that 10 months seemed rushed! the time ends up flying by somehow. there's always something to take care of and there's always something that gets left out.

I think about 6 months would have been just right if immigration didn't drag their feet.

I finally gave up and decided to do the immigration stuff there (U.S. Embassy in Sydney, Australia), way better than getting married here.

We plan to wait longer than that... I proposed to her so we could buy a house together first... wedding comes next...

Next month will be 1 year engaged, but wedding will probably be just before 2005 gets here.
