yeah, planning a wedding takes a LONG time, plus I had to save up enough $ to pay for the wedding and an apt (I live with my parents, she lives with her grandma). Costs for both at about $12K.

it'll be 2.5 for myself and my fiance for ours..

course, planning for ours hasn't been rushed.... it's tough to find Irish Bagpipers around here..

my friend got engaged last summer... august 2002, she's planning to get married maybe in 2006... i think lots of people are waiting longer due to school, money, and making sure things are working. but then again, there are all those people who get married after knowing each other 3 months....
