Run 3 miles 4 days a week, weight training the other 3.

something like this works for me. run a couple miles 5 days a week, lift 2 or 3 times a week, don't drink a lot of soda.

I'm 27 and my metabolism is still really high... you probably won't gain weight (by doing nothing) until you're into your 30s.

I eat well, and I do about 500 crunches every night. Luckily I am on my feet about 10 hours a day at my job(hmmm...i wonder how many miles I walk a day).

Remember if you keep doing 500 crunches a night nothing will ever improve. What you should do is instead of doing tons of crunches, you should do less but with more weights. That way the muscles are strained and then will build up. My .02 cents.

Keep 'em coming people 😀

BTW, I run, go to the gym, and do kung fu... and when it is warm enough, hiking 😀

I am thinking about MTB... just need to save up to get a good starter bike.

I go and work out after school for about an hour (do a different set of muscles every day so the others can heal). I work out at most 3-4 times a week and average 2-3 times a weak.

Olympic Lift 3x a week,

Commute to the station and then to Uni on the days I go in.

Tennis 5-10hrs in the summer when it isn't raining in England 🙁

Rock climb with my mates and do Gymnastics when I can. Use to go every week but it is a lot less now. Use to do martial arts and Rugby 2x a week also but I was doing too much so I had to cut it down 🙁. 1st year of Uni I was playing Bball once a week.

I like to keep myself busy.

Although gaming does get my fingers in shape.

i just eat less than i used to about 2 years ago.

if you eat less you'll be in good shape, at least you wont be fat i mean. i weigh like 145-150 lbs.

*edit*

i get zero exercise ... well ok, i do go up and down the stairs

Cardio for 45-60 minutes can make very noticeable changes. It doesn't have to be very high impact like running (even though it's the most efficient method). I'll usually do the bike for 30 minutes at the hardest level and then jog for 10-15 minutes 5-6 times per week.
Lifting weights will keep your arms, legs, back, shoulders, and chest toned. I'll usually lift 3-4 times per week on top of the cardio I was doing. Eating the right stuff helps me too.

When I was in high school, I stopped physical activity after 10th grade. That was dumb. I didn't get fat, but I definitely got weak. When I got to college I started going to the gym about twice a weak. It's taken a couple of years to get back into shape.

I've found the motivation *LOL* getting dumped by the gf got me back into my regime and routines... was getting lazy with the gf, and once I got too lazy she said bye.

I've heard that swimming is the most effcient way to lose weight... but running did the trick for me, used to be a "big guy", meaning I carried the excess weight well. Got into shape and lost 100 pounds in 4 months... never looked back, and I did it smartly, not with some fad or trend, just hard work and determination 🙂

run 5-7 miles a day, depending on the day, or what our coach says, it could be an easy day, or we could be doing a tempo run (not fun).ive only lifted weights when we did it in gym class, but that unit is over.
