Well Bob, I manage and optimize the short-to-mid-term operation of a large utility's generating fleet (18 coal units, 1 natural gas unit, 1 nuclear unit). Basically this involves using Excel a lot to determine what units to operate, what fuel blends to use, when to do maintenance, etc. Also starting to get into more long-term stuff like analyzing how much/what new generation will be needed in the next 1-5 years.

First I come in 15 minutes late -- I use the side door so Lumburgh doesn't see me -- then I space out for awhile.

Also, I have a panel with a lot of colored lights on it, and the lights make patterns. The pattern of lights changes sometimes. Then I press buttons to make the pattern change in other ways.
