DC yes, but aren't most states in the black? Don't most have laws/state constitutional amendments against sustained long-term debt? I know my current state (Virginia) does. And this is the same sort of thing we need on the federal level.

Oh quiet...conservatives don't seem appropriately represented in the poll either.

All of the ultra-conservatives were banned. Except for a few notables (we all know who) there are very few ultra-conservatives here anymore. As for ultra liberals, that's a different story. They've got a mod on their side.

Instead of taking personal responsibility the new-rights persecution complex/victim metality has moved to P&N..

This guy (BoberFett based on previous posts) however is a total nazi with a heart for gay marriage somehow. :Q I suppose some people are all over the map.

That doesn't mean that they don't have pork. They have excess taxes from gasoline taxes, income (payroll) taxes, property taxes, etc. They "could" give a tax break with some of the excess, but rarely do. They are still a better model than the US government though.

BTW - liberal here.
I'm shocked, i always thought you considered yourself a moderate as well.
Everyone thinks they are moderate.

Hell, relative to Anarcho-Capitalists and Communists; Democrats and Republicans are the exact same.

that's been my whole point....everyone believe's their own point of view is "moderate"
I consider myself conservative in everyday life. (being in canada) But in the US I would probably be considered moderate to liberal.

The question asks how you percieve yourself, and most people will say moderate (not just liberals as zendari tries to claim).

I wish the South won the war so I'm pretty umm unrepresented these days being a confederate. Demopublican party has nothing I want.

I vote for Green Party.

I'll give them one thing, they have unique and fresh answers to alot of the problems out there. I may not agree with them but I like their ingenuity.

Not everyone thinks they're a moderate.

I view my socially as leaning left - The only thing the keeps me towards the center is my support of the death penatly and banning of abortions after the 3rd trimester unless a womens life is at risk. As for economics I am leaning towards conservative policys, but we will see what happens. 😉
