What do people ask you to do most on computers?

Just curious what you are asked to do most, this doesn't include hardware

For me, it's networking or cleaning out the computer from spyware

Asks me if they can use the internet at my place.

All my computers are hidden. Unless you know me, you probably couldn't tell I use them professionally and as a hobby

"fix it"
and then they say don't mess it up 😛

which means don't do anything to it, but magically make it better.

yea i tell my friends to fix it themselves when it comes to PC's

For those doing spyware, what all do you run? Do any of you just tell them to run a certain program?
I tell them to create an user account (with no administrative privileges) and log onto that one.

"fixing" the computer, which involves cleaning out malware, then a reformat.

So let me get this right... You take time to clean off viruses, spyware and adware etc.

Then you format the computer?

at work, it's mostly problems with outlook, like they can't connect or something.. or their contacts are "magically gone"
