What did you do when you turned 21?

I'm going to a stripper club with a few people I know. I'll be buying a friend a drink. I will also be getting a new license that week. (WA licenses have differences between <21 and 21+)
Great, a generous welfare pimp.

Just came in here to say, i have never smoked, never done any kinds of illegal drugs, nor have i partaken in alcohol. I am 18 years old and plan on keeping it this way. No I dont care if you do any of those things around me, i just wont join you 😛

Life is way too short man.

Been there, done that. You didnt miss anything.

Speaking of which I dont remember my 21st birthday too much. Probably went out with my cousin more than likely but then I probably didnt.

I do remember having the birthday party at work. Older people came by and basically said "Enjoy it while it lasts". Boy were they ever right! 😱

my 21st was on 9/11. we all watched TV instead of going out. only minor quantities of alcohol were consumed.

Nothing wrong with personal choice. Just don't make the mistake of thinking it's a virtue.

When I turned 21 nothing. 🙁
When a friend of mine turned 21, went to nearly every bar in the town. 😛
(Not that there was that many)

went out for a dinner at gordon biersch, went to a club, got bottle service. i ate too much at dinner so i felt like shit clubbing and I threw up. i didn't even drink much.

i blame my friends for not helping me eat that cake. they kept telling me to eat. being one who does food contests, I was like whatever I'll finish that. the alcohol really didn't go well with that dessert afterward.

lets just say i didnt visit 21+ clubs for a while... i want to say it took at least another year before I went out to do the clubbing thing.

kinda regretted my 21-23 life because I dated a chick who never went out much. it seems that now I'm back into going out with friends i'm doing a lot of drinking and partying to catch up. heh.

I dont think im "better" then anyone for it, just what i am choosing to do, a lot of my friends are pot heads and drunkards 😛
honestly i thought the same in high school. then i drank. i smoked some cigs, tried other stuff.

it's not my lifestyle, but i'll socially drink and that's pretty much it. by that i mean go out to bars with friends, and i almost never get trashed since i drive most of the time. it's not that bad when you look back, but i sometimes think saying flat out no to everything is going too far.

for me i draw the line at drugs. perhaps i'm a peer pressure guy, but i'd say that it's good to be able to blend in socially at least at work functions, and the minimum is to go out to bars with your coworkers. not doing drugs is fine because i'm sure none of that is work appropriate anyway.

Spent the day in court. Got busted for possession 2 weeks before my 21st. The hairlip prosecutor had the fucking balls to actually say to me 'What, you couldn't wait two more weeks?'
