Nothing.
My wife and I don't usually exchange gifts but I bought her something this year.
Now she wants me to tell her what I want and I can't think of anything I need.

Was going to get a new lens for my Rebel, or a nice new LCD to replace my almost dead 19" CRT; but, I invested in my first suit so I could have something nice to wear to my company's Christmas party.

Then I won a $500 gift card to Brooks Brothers at the same party, it was so funny I wanted to cry.

$600 with a 24" monitor?? I spent to much on my last build...
Yes.

Dell is selling this computer for $499 and free shipping, but there was 20% off with Bing.com shopping a couple weeks ago. Total: $400. Add in This cyber Monday 24" LCD with free shipping with another 20% off with Bing. And top it off with a Best Buy online Black Friday external drive and router deal.

I could have gotten a slightly lower price with a Dell Inspiron 537 slim tower, but it would have been maxxed out on all specs. With the computer I got, I can upgrade everything if prices come down to a good level.

nada, but my bday and xmas are so close I think I might pick something up I've had my eye on and then not feel so guilty about it.

q9550 for 170+tax from microcenter and a ECS P45 black series to replace the MSI P35 I toasted during a bios update

I had a ton of spares so I also got a mobo and gts 260 216 to put into a new machine that got my e6320 that the q9550 replaced

Just a whole bunch of Blu-rays. Not much else I need or want really.

I added about 15 or so to my collection. :awe:

KT

Amazon BF stuff:
Iron Man on DVD
4GB Sansa Fuze
+ some MP3s because of the credits granted to me by the Sansa and some other stuff I bought

Other stuff:
Lowepro Nova 160AW camera bag

About 10 blu-rays
4 PS3 Games (Uncharted 2, NBA Live 10, Ratchet & Clank and Assassin's Creed 2) in the past two months. Christmas is the excuse to the wife 😀
LFD2 PC
Torchlight PC

I am probably going to grab my wife a new laptop and desktop for downstairs for her to use.

haha.. Awesome! Be sure to upgrade the firmware before you even use it for the first time. I had an annoying issue with Windows 7 shares out of the box. Also, I didn't even know this (since I use my xbox for netflix), but playon (www.playon.tv) is compatible with the WD Live! That means hulu and netflix on it, which is pretty nifty and the main reason I bought another one today.

I use my samsung blu ray player for netflix and I don't know what Hulu is but I'll check out the link you posted. Did you update to the official firmware or the hacked?

I'm going to stick with the official firmware. I get that the hack is completely cool, but I just don't want to risk messing up my player for functionality I don't see myself using. In fact, bit torrent directly to the player and all that sounds really cool, but I much prefer to use my desktop for that, especially since I have multiple media players throughout my house (and my desktop acts as a server).
