I noticed the Lowes near me was beginning to stock up as well. I honestly don't want to see that shit until mid to late November.

Really? Not here... not yet at least. I thought it was funny when Lowes started putting up Halloween stuff in August. Maybe when they move out all of the grill/patio stuff (like they do every fall) they'll start putting out some X-Mas stuff.

Yeah, they were clearing out an aisle near the lawn/power equipment. Only had a few items but I suspect it will be full soon enough.

I went yesterday and noticed that. in fact that looks like the exact same layout I seen. I had the boy dancing with the dog, actually I think he pressed all three at the same time.

Yep. We were at Costco today and they had x-mas trees on display, lights, decorations, toys, the whole schmear...

Let's all get ready to celebrate the Merchant's Saturnalia Holiday...and remember, "If you don't shop and put yourself into debt, YOU are responsible for the country's economic crisis and are helping to put good businesses into bankruptcy."

I doubt we'll spend $500 on x-mas this year. I'm just tired of the whole Merchant's Holiday Season.

I'll spend about 500 bucks, and it will be on one item for one person: Mommy. She needs a new computer, and I know I can get her a nice Win 7 system for Christmas and with some careful customizing, I can make sure it will last for many years. She's already got a great monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer, so all 500 bucks can go into the system itself.
