Some supermarkets around here are getting the christmas stuff out already too. It seems like they are setting up the christmas displays earlier each year.
 
Dude its Cracker Barrel.. If you look you can always find some sort of Christmas stuff there. My wife buys presents year round to spread out the pocket hurt.

I did look. Every time I was there. 4 days a week. For the past 13 months. They do NOT always have Christmas stuff.


As for the penguins:
I'd say having penguins at the north pole is just as realistic as a jolly fat man at the north pole.

There's really no excuse for Christmas paraphernalia this early ... unless you are a craft store and sell supplies for making your own decor.

Though I do know Wal*Mart starts receiving some Christmas merchandise around the end of August but they keep it in the stockroom till after Halloween, or at least the one I worked at.

Michael's has a lot of Christmas stuff out already as well. They had their Halloween stuff out over a month ago.

I noticed the Lowes near me was beginning to stock up as well. I honestly don't want to see that shit until mid to late November.
