HI, guys I have found out something very interesting,
I'm successfully running this turbo mode on dual E5 2686v3 on Asus Z10PE-D16 WS (you can checkout my previous posts).
I don't have any Xeon v4's to test this, but i tested this on i7 6800K on stock settings in BIOS, It boosted to all core 3.8Ghz (CPU multiplier/turbo multipler all were on auto, i only had to adjust vcore).
i7 6800k boosts 3.8Ghz for 2 cores and 3.5Ghz for 6 cores on stock settings, no overclocking at all. Then i set turbo multiplier to 42 in "Advanced Frequency Settings", CPU multiplier was still auto. It boosted to 4.2Ghz all core. You can see in screenshot that fused multiplier limit shows x80 in HWiNFO64.
It seems unlocking turbo in v4 xeons is possible.

Hello, could you test 8895V3? Can you give me a 4-way main board efi? my CPU ID 0x306f4
Confirmation of exploit in E7 Haswell-EX processor series is reported...
E7-8890v3 (CPUID = 0x306f2) is shown
System owner asked for special CPUID = 0x306f3 build with testing now in process

Hello ~ could you test 8895V3? The CPU ID 0306 f4

You can try 4-way efi, but it will seriously damage your motherboard and cpus. (not worth time and money)
This mod also doubles the cpu TDP. I have dual E5 2686v3 (120W TDP), total power consumption of CPU only load is 530 watts on full load. I'm using Corsair AX1200i PSU.
With your 4 CPU system 8895v3 (175W TDP), it will consume around 1100 watts. 8Pin EPS connector are not made to sustain stress of more than 220 watts each. You'll also have to cool down VRM's with active cooling and air cooler isn't going to cool down your CPUs either when this much heat is generated in closed case even when AC is on.

Very encouraging! I have a dual E5-2695 v4 QK3E QS in a Supermicro X10DAL board I can volunteer for testing. Would be amazing to join the turbo club.

Received a 2697v3 today so hopefully I understand the process. Curious to see what I can do for all core and also what kind of memory speed/ timings I can get after that.

What is maximum single core turbo of your E5-2695 v4 QK3E QS ?
I can only find online that it has 18C @ 2.1Ghz base clock speed.
Can you flash modded BIOS on your Supermicro motherboard? I will provide you modded BIOS file, but you must know how to revert back to stock BIOS if your rig doesn't boot after removing u-codes..

What motherboard you have ?
With 2697v3, you'll get x34 on all 14 cores, which is 3.57Ghz @ 105 bclk. You can expect around 2400CB in cinebench R15. Memory speed will be limited to 2133Mhz only and you can reduce its timing to C14 / C13 or lower (lower timings at 2133 will give you slight more MB/s in AIDA64 memory test only)

The single core turbo is 3.3GHz. Please see screencap. I have flashed stock BIOS using FreeDOS thumbdrive without trouble in the past. I will double check BIOS recovery before I pull the trigger.

You may have to check your privacy setting.

I would not recommend you to invest any money in new single cpu rig, right now only dual cpu rig is worth. If you already have X99 rig and want to boost, then its different matter. If getting good deal on used rampage V, then buy it. E5 2680v3 will boost to 3.3Ghz all core but only on low loads, on heavy load it will drop to 3.1ghz, with E5 2690v3 speed will drop to 3.2-3.3Ghz. You can get 5% more by bclk 105 but it may not be stable. These both are not worth this mod. Only cpus i would recommend you are E5 2686v3, E5 2699v3, E5 2696v3, E5 2698v3. E5 2696v3 is best among all, it can reach 4ghz.

Hi all.

I have a Gigabyte x99 with an E5 2660v3 Es, which gives a score of 2964 pts in Cinebench r20.

I have the opportunity to buy an E5 2690v3 for € 280, is it worth this processor or invest something else and buy a new board and a 9900k i7?
