Red and white 1966 ford F100. Still have it, one of these days I'm going to restore it. My Dad bought it brand new, gave it to me when I was 14. He'd kill me if I sold it.
 
Geo Tracker. Hated it. But my parents gave it to me for free and unlike modern teenagers I know better than to complain about a free handout.
Black, squat, ugly. But it was enought to get me to school.

I believe that if a vehicle has to be butt-ugly, painting it black helps reduce the annoyance quite a bit.
 
i got a 74 dodge coronet with a 383 in it when i was 14. the stock gold color, piece of crap. i worked on that thing relentlessly, got the engine all pretty and running well, tried to fix the suspension as much as i could. never could get it titled tho, asshole i got it from screwed me. luckily it only cost me 20 bucks, some weed and a 10 speed bike. my next car was one my bro and i shared, a 70 maverick custom painted midnight blue. that was an awesome car. i let my bro take that over (he was slowly killing it with tantrums and wrecking it) and got me a 80 datsun 210 hatchback. red car with a green door. it had gotten t-boned by a t-bird, i had to do a ton of body work to straighten the posts and get the door to hang correctly. kept that car until i was 19 tho. next vehicle was a 79 honda cb750 motorcycle from a salvage yard. flat black paint, a little bolt on chrome. great, fast bike but very ugly.i had that as main transpo until my first kid was born. 6 years i rode that thing as a daily driver.
 
White 91 Honda Civic 4 door ... best car I've owned so far (except I suppose the brand new mazda).
