What color socks do you wear?

White or black...it depends what pants/shoes I'm wearing.

Dockers or slacks for work with dress shoes= black/grey

Shorts or jeans with sneakers = white
 
At work, black.

On the weekends around the house, white.

Though I won't go and take off my black socks I already have on just to put on white socks at home.

And I wear sandals more than anything when at home if I need to go outside or run to some local store.
 
i dont wear socks unless i have to. when i do, they are usually white.
socks are horrible.
 
Usually black dress socks to work, sometimes brown or blue dress socks though, depends on the pants/shirt. White or gray for casual socks.

White. Black with dress shoes. I should switch to black though, I wear black shoes normally.

White.

If I'm dressing up (ie: wearing shoes), then I'll wear socks to match (brown or black), but I haven't had to do so in about 2 years. (And I might've just worn white socks the last time I did anyways)
 
depends on what im dooing
to work i can wear whatever color socks i want, i have to wear steel toes all day and it really doesnt matter, if im just going to the store, generally white socks, if im going out someplace nice and putting on nice shoes i wear black socks

Going to the beach, the sand around here is disgusting. I hate sand as it is, but the sand around where i surf is a little finer than when i lived back home, and dirtier, im convinced its dredged. I like to take care of my black socks, they are the only socks i buy, i dont know why, i just like the way they look.

To answer your question, i dont wear socks under my booties when i surf, they would only weigh me down. There is no advantage.

The water is cold enough that you have to wear booties around here. All year long 🙁.
 
I guess I didn't realize black socks were a no-no if you're wearing shorts. Do they really look that bad?

Eh, fuck it. I like my black socks and plaid shorts.

Any color socks can go with jeans. In addition to matching pants, socks should match shoes as well.

Anyone who wears dress shoes and white socks lacks fashion sense and I suspect the majority of ATOT nerds here probably wear white socks w/ dress shoes.

But anything goes w/ jeans.
