Even sooner for us. We move in on the 18th (upperclassmen, anyway) and classes start on the 21st.

Freshmen at Western Illinios University.

Move in the 15th, class starts the 19th.

Wow MIT very impressive. We have someone in my graduating class that could have gone to MIT. But instead of only being in the top 10% at MIT he would rather be number 1 here. Bastard usually has 5-10% higher then the second person in every class. He pissed one of my professors off by being the only person to get 100% on all three tests since he started teaching 15 years ago. He made the test extra hard and had about 300 check marks looking for something wrong. Everyone else had about 10 check marks and the second highest grade was around 70%.

Sophomore, Iowa State University.

I don't remember when classes start. Frankly, I don't care. I just got done with the summer session at a junior college today and will never need to take another physics class. I will have junior standing at the end of this next semester.

Oh, and if anyone needs help building a parallel port interface to switch appliances on and off, look me up. It was my physics project... hooked her up to a linux box and my summer prof was very impressed. Hopefully impressed enough to pass me. ;)

hehe, that's pretty funny. The valedictorian from my class this year got accepted into MIT and Stanford, but he ended up going to Stanford because he felt like he needed the higher GPA and less competition to get into a good med school. His mom was all hyped up about us being room mates too :( Oh well. I figure I'd be lucky being in the top 50% at MIT.

Another year at Notre Dame... though i never really left. There is no "summer" in grad school. Classes end, research begins, classes start, research slows down. Repeat a couple of times until you are done with classes, and then research full time (2 or 3 years) and you get your PhD. Go out, get a real job, wife, kids, house, cars, retire, death.

Wow... now where did I put that noose...
