(1) What are the pros and cons of selling a new car a month after I bought it? I'm fairly unhappy with it (for what I paid--it's a base/auto) and can make back most of what I paid for it if I sell now...
(2) What car should I get to replace it? I'm looking for low 20's...
The car has been titled, prepare to lose thousands.....
I would say get this but they aren't in production yet.

Since you've given no clues as to what you don't like about the RSX, I let the pendulum swing to the other side, and now cast my recommendation thusly: Starting at $17,095.![]()

A couple thousand? Most cars depreciate 30% the moment you drive it off the lot. If you don't like it why'd you buy it? You will probably lose $4-5K if you sell it. If you've got money blowing out your ass, then sure why not. Otherwise live and deal with the choice you made.
Base audio is barely adequate...The Type S system was good enough for me but most of the S-drivers I know replaced some or all of their system :TOriginally posted by: The_good_guy
Im considering the RSX-TypeS .. just wondering if the base model has the Bose System.. and how does it sound?
Yup...I wanted the convenience for California traffic and the S doesn't come in auto so I was sorta stuck...Originally posted by: NeuroSynapsis
your fault for both buying the base and the auto![]()
Not "fun" enough. The next car will be more fun, sporty, stick...As for replacing it, you haven't said why you dislike the rsx and you haven't said what you are looking for in a car.
Yup...that's obviously what's holding me back...but my logic is that if I'm gonna be unhappy with it and sell eventually, best to do it now when there's very few miles and the next year's models haven't come out yet ==> make it easier to sellOriginally posted by: NewSc2
keep the car~ you'll lose too much.
unless you have extra money to throw around..
Yup...Kelley Blue Book says I'd lose $3000 of my purchase price to a dealer, $1500 of my purchase price to a private party...Actually, my most probable course of action is giving it to my sister for $4500 less than what I paid...at least that way, someone I know benefits from me getting screwedJohn says :

I researched for *months* a lot of that research coming on these forums in factOriginally posted by: Jellomancer
ARgh!! Didn't you research before buying a car? Auto? AEEEII!!
Like everyone said, you will lose lots of money. But do whatever makes you happy.
Yup...that's why I got it originally...I never thought I'd be the type of person who'd be unhappy with a slow car that looked very nice and had so many things going for it otherwise. But here I am...Originally posted by: HiTek21
Keep the car unless you want a race car. RSX is a very nice looking vehicle and does everything you need.
God...the cars on the horizon are killing me:Originally posted by: KnightBreed
