What can the Republicans an Democrats actually agree on?

I think the problem is coming up with different percentages.

So for starters you agree that we could indeed finish up the war on terror, end the war on drugs and cut the budget of the Dept of Defense by 20%?

Would you be willing to cut the Dept of Defense by 20% and a 10% increase in taxes for the top 10%? They giving Welfare cuts, and open up domestic drilling/nuclear power?

I would agree to that. I am actually for Defense cuts to begin with so not much arguement from me there.

"Damn that's a giant pile of crap on the table... and we're not going to be able to agree on how to clean it up... and even if we could we wouldn't be able to sell any real solution to the public...
