This is a complete lie. Democrats worked with George Bush.

YOUR side will block everything a democrat tries to do to fix the country however. YOUR side is the treasonous side that wants the country to fail while a Democrat is in office. Let Obama pass the Jobs bill you jackasses and think about the country for once instead of just getting back into power.

Obama's jobs bill was DOA when it showed up in the Senate.
Reid would not even let it come up for a vote.

That should indicate something about the quality of legislation that Obama sends to Congress.

The second jobs bill is is not about creating jobs; but acting like the stimulus .
Less than 1/4 of the original proposed bill has in doing something that would generate work.

Main items:
Money to governments
Unemployment benefit extension
SBA loans

Use your fucking brain for once and realize that Austerity during a global economic crisis is a bad idea.

Even former pro-austerity economists are changing their minds on this, you dumbass

How is not spending more money austerity? Pull your head out of the sand and realize govt wont solve this problem. They are getting in the way. And in the process saddling taxpayers with more and more debt. That means the middle class is going to have a harder time of it over the next decade.

Because you conservative shit-for-brains morons keep on saying we should CUT CUT CUT. The first step is first admitting CUTTING DOESN'T WORK. The second step is realizing staying pat doesn't work either. THE THIRD STEP IS USING BASIC COMMON FUCKING SENSE AND WELL ESTABLISHED MACRO ECON 101 TO REALIZE WE NEED PUBLIC INVESTMENT.

Edit: And those economists now recommend Stimulus

You love to name call republicans / conservatives, yet look how vile and angry you get yourself? Not exactly helping the way people view democrats on here.

Secondly, To admit cutting doesn't work we would have to have evidence of this. But since no government has actually CUT anything, we have no proof. They just move funds "around" to cut in areas but over fund in others.

Last, economists are always split on cut/spend. And I bet you the reason is... they both work. They just require such and such variables for each one to be successful. Both parties fail at this and will continue too. It is inevitable.

Are these the same economists that were guiding the economy before it shit the bed?
And honestly what is on the chopping block? Have you seen Paul Ryans "draconian" budget projected out to 2025 vs Obamas? It is laugh worthy to believe Republicans are going to cut anythying. And dumbasses on the left get their panties in a bunch believing they will. And what leads them to believe such a fantasy given the fact Republicans nearly doubled the budget in 8 years under Bush? Yes, what tightwads. Open your fucking eyes.

Economists are NOT split on cut/spend (not 50/50 anyway). And after the UK experiment, the economists who advocated austerity are now backtracking, see the link above).

Probably the 100th time i've had to post this for you:

http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/...rs-renege-on-debt-limit-deal-defense-cuts.php

And it's not an either/or position, you can cut useless shit (like the military) and still do targeted stimulus elsewhere.

Stimulus is useless because the core issues remain not only unaddressed, but unspoken. Throwing money at stupid rarely works. Both sides are blind, deaf and dumb. Hey looks like we have some commonality between the two overlords after all.

Rightwing monetarists like the now deceased Milton Friedman claim that we don't need fiscal stimulus and we can get out of the economic disasters by JUST loosening monetary policy. This CLEARLY hasn't worked (see the Fed actions with QE) because we're in a liquidity trap (Keynsians are ALWAYS right about this). Want to destroy capital? Do nothing/do Austerity and watch people get laid off, then watch businesses get shuttered, then watch more people get laid off, then watch more businesses get shuttered, etc. etc. etc., it's a vicious cycle. Stimulus puts confidence back into the system.

Yeah the jobs bill. If only we spent another 500 billion we will magically pull ourselves out of this mess. Use your fucking brain for once and realize spending money and getting little return isnt the way to get things accomplished.

Does this apply to trillions of dollars spent on "temporary" tax cuts for the rich so it can trickle down?

So you agree with me Republicans wont be cutting much of anything? There may be hope you can see the light and realize both of these worthless parties are going to spend this nation into the ground.

That's an incomplete statement.

The real statement should be, "Oh, the Democrats want to do something, and the Republicans will automatically be against it no matter what "it" is. I'm fucking mad at the GOP"

But nope, no outrage from you.

Tax cuts dont really work as a form of stimulus. There is enough evidence of that in recent memory(2008 stimulus,2009 porkubus, expanded payroll tax cuts on the employee side). That said I disagree with you that cutting taxes is spending money. That assumes the money earned by the taxed is not theirs, but the govts.

Actually the statement is fine. It is the part about you not removing your head from the sand that is keeping you from understanding what I am saying. I am pointing out republicans wont make any real cuts to spending. What dream world are you living within? Your own link even says they arent going to adhere to their promise to cut military spending. So what else will they "cut"? Medicare? SS? Laughable given they didnt touch that under Bush. In fact they expanded Medicare. Hell you jizzed yourself yesterday at Romney saying he will keep parts of Obamacare.

I don't do either/or solutions as a rule. I suggest you look at the dialogue between Bowfinger and myself Start with post #202

But the democrats WERE up for cutting shit, you dumbass. The whole point is the system is broken, but nobody is focusing on why: The GOP. Too many dumbasses follow your line of logic, 'oh well, both parties are 'equally' to blame', *washes hands of the situation*.

lmao I have ocean front property in Nebraska I can sell you if you believe that at the end of the day any real cuts would be enacted by Democrats. Remember this is the party that screamed 30 billion in cuts out of a budget of 3.5 trillion was "draconian". Dumbass indeed.
