Didn't have enough money for the island.
Refrigerator placement is horrendous.
Cathedral doors and captains rail are soo 1970, and putting the microwave over the stove is a CRIME AGAINST GOD! Everyone with twenty two working brain cells figured out that it's the single worst place for it 30 years ago. Why does this abomination continually show up? Why doesn't congress address this issue?

What we have here is a seriously fucked up kitchen. It's very existence offends me.
@Greenman What don't you like about the microwave above the stove, ventilation?

  1. They rarely work very well as a vent.
  2. They are often installed to low.
  3. Even when installed to low, a lot of people have to reach up to access them. Not a good thing when handling hot food.
  4. They're butt ugly.

The entire concept came out of the "space saver" method of kitchen design. In an RV or submarine they're a great idea, in a home they're simply a lazy way of sticking in a microwave without having to think about it.

Sorry... but when I see that basement, all I see is potential. I'm imagining a giant mancave with a 90" TV and a pool table!

You gotta think bigger. I'm seeing a 120" projector screen with a separate area for arcade and pinball machines.

The dark theme seems to be working, it's just a little different. For the longest time I was just getting a blank page if I tried to open any thread though. (After the maintenance)

and the fucking header is still sticky. Get rid of it, and you can't see notifications. I'm real close to putting in the time to see what it takes to make it scroll with the page. I'm not a webdev though, and I'd just be poking things to see if it works. It's probably trivial for someone that knows what they're doing :^/

That would be worthy. But it seems to be working. (I just turned on the Dark.)

Seemed to be broken last night but working fine now.

While we're whining, anyone underwhelmed with the updated selection (or lack thereof) of reaction-emoji's?

I'm here to whine about the tiny new avatars - maybe 0.5" square. And the tiny font for posts.

You appear to be off to me. Maybe it isn't accurate for self viewing?

Interesting ... as I said you also appear to be on along with most folks (including myself) still showing on.

(In this thread highland145 & nakedfrog both show off for me)

I never disabled my online status. I'd be surprised if I was ever offline. I have a few computers, and I almost always have a browser open, and logged in here. Might not be anyone live behind the status, but I'm guessing it'll be on.
