I've been running SETI@Home on my Linux systems, and while it's exciting, I'd prefer to be doing something more. Like something with diseases - I know those projects exist. Any suggestions?
hmmmm... 1 week eh? That means they have enough computers doing what they need to do then right?
What's something that isn't saturated? Rosetta looks interesting. Where can I make the most impact with my ~30 boxes?
I run SIMAP because I believe it offers the most immediate scientific gains.
If you want to make the most impact on the team standings, you should choose a relatively new project like RNA World or QuantumFIRE.
