Alrighty, well, this ties back to my other thread about some guy threatening to report me to ebay for taking his text description of an item on ebay, UNLESS i gave him what i was selling. So i just waited calmly, trying to force him into explicitly typing out the words i needed for it to be considered blackmail. Surely enough, he came through with this:

I nedd you to let me download your list free of charge if you dont provide for me to get the list till the end of this week I will report you to eBay.

Aye, stupid guy, why must he waste my time!

Report him to ebay first. Tell them that you were in the wrong as well, but didn't mean any harm, and that this guy is trying to blackmail you as a result.

Edit: Now that I see what you were selling, I think you're both scum. :)

If he still has an eBay account, turn him in to SafeHarbor. If he didn't put a copyright notice on his auction text that you lifted, you're in the clear. Either way eBay will go after him for trying to dodge their fees.

This may interest you, or not. There is no question regarding ebay that isn't answered by looking at their forum for 10 seconds. By the look of his writing skills, I would assume you are safe because he will not be able to fill out the form properly to report you for this.

Being to lazy to write your own product description for an ebay item is the ultimate in personal degradation though IMHO.
