I love holdouts who haven't yet embraced consoles. I used to be one, too, like a decade ago.

PCs are superior from hardware perspective and mouse/keyboard owns in FPS, but consoles are so big that the majority of games now are, out of the box, built to run on one, and so with a PC you jack the graphics up on the same game but that's it.

No. I bought a ps3 after believing garbage like your post. Even bought streetfighter 4 which I already own on pc just to play on ps3. Needless to say it played like complete crap on ps3. Bland colors, choppy gameplay, didn't look nearly as sharp. The ps3 has had maybe 10 hours of use total. It's for sale btw.

I also sold my PS3 after about 10 hours of use. I bought 6 games, and the reason for buying a PS3 (and a wheel) - Gran Turismo 5 - ended up sucking balls. Never had any fun playing PS3. Not one bit. Using the wheel with PC now and enjoying immensely.

Well, let me say that the Netflix interface on a PS3 sucks.

And, I don't really understand why. Why would they make what should be nothing more than a web page, dependent on the platform you were using to view it? That's like saying if you view this web page on a Dell you don't get the sidebar menu and there is no search function. wtf why should the interface be so different viewing Netflix on the PS3 as opposed to my Panasonic Blu-ray player?

So many things wrong in that pic to go with the TV. Wearing hat (backwards no less) and shoes, while inside. Sitting in a cheap ass lawn chair, again inside. Zero attempt at wire management, and calling the Wii next gen. :p

As a collector, I buy my games and I find PC by far the most economical even after the cost of entry and upgrades if you buy even a few games a month. If you buy that many, your backlog is probably long enough to wait for the PC version. Arkham City and L.A. Noir: here I come!

I have a wii (well 2 of them since one died and nintendo finally fixed it) a PS3 and computer.

I play most games on my computer. the wii is great for the kids and when friends are over. The ps3 i rarely play games. but we use it a lot for movies.

IF i have a choice between a game on the PS3 and computer I will get the game for the computer every time. better graphics, better control and mods!

games like Skyrim make having a pc great.

thats the case with many, many things besides just netflix. but PS3 Netflix has a search function...since last year i do believe

But i don't think its Netflix themselves making these apps. I might be wrong, but im pretty certain they contract that work out.

I think you may just have a shitty TV. SSFIV national competitions are run on consoles 360/PS3, so if it is running like complete crap for you, it ain't the PS3. Bland colors and choppy game play? Seriously? I have none of those issues.

It's a great tv. Panny plasma. I still am in awe of the picture while watching stuff on tv. So it's not the tv.

Then your settings are wrong because there should be NO bland colors and DEFINITELY no choppy game play. Are you talking about choppy online game play?

Being capped at 30fps (ps3) is way different than running it at a true 120 fps like I do on the computer. And the 30fps is max with dips into the mid 20's it felt like. My pc is pegged at a buttery smooth 120fps with no dips. Also from the looks of it the ps3 also caps sf4 at 720p while my pc is full 1080p which would explain why the picture wasnt as sharp. I'm not trying to be anti console guy but I truly was disappointed playing sf4 on ps3. I'm use to a certain level of gameplay and the ps3 doesn't deliver to my standards.
