Being capped at 30fps (ps3) is way different than running it at a true 120 fps like I do on the computer. And the 30fps is max with dips into the mid 20's it felt like. My pc is pegged at a buttery smooth 120fps with no dips. Also from the looks of it the ps3 also caps sf4 at 720p while my pc is full 1080p which would explain why the picture wasnt as sharp. I'm not trying to be anti console guy but I truly was disappointed playing sf4 on ps3. I'm use to a certain level of gameplay and the ps3 doesn't deliver to my standards.
I don't get "your level of standards" because like I said, national competitions are run on consoles (PS3 or 360). I've been playing fighting games ever since the SFII days (in the arcades), and I've also played SEVERAL fighting games on the PC, and consoles don't reduce my level of play or enjoyment of the game. And I am VERY picky.
And I'd like to see the monitor you are running that will allow you to run 120Hz. I had a Sony G500 CRT monitor that wouldn't do 120Hz, so if you have an LCD hooked up to your PC, it ain't refreshing at 120Hz.
