What brand of TV(s) do you own?

I was looking at some nice TV's the other day and the Sony Wega caught my eye. I don't have the money to purchase in one of those, but maybe in time. I am interested in the 32" - 36" sized ones.
Does anyone here own a Wega? How is it?

Anyone else got other kickass TV's they wanna share?

I have a 27" Toshiba (regular old CRT direct view) that is ~2 years old. I must say I love the picture, especially when using the component video connections along with my Toshiba DVD player. It's nothing extra-cool, but the price was suprisingly low and I have really enjoyed it.

32inch Philips/Magnavox probably not all that great of a tv, but much nicer since Philips paid for half of it =D

27 inch JVC
JVC Surround Sound
JVC Stereo System (vcr, disk changer, receiver, etc.)

Great entertainment system 🙂

If you want quality for a good price get a Toshiba Cinema Series, awesome quality TV for a decent price.

I own a 27" Toshiba Cinema Series, 2 tuner PIP, nice well laid out remote control, awesome tube, and bought it locally for only $499.

Sony, Panasonic and JVC also make great TVs.

What's the big deal about WEGAs?!? They're ugly (that silver is suck), incredible expensive and just don't seem to be that big an improvement. Explain this!

I have a 27" Toshiba. Nothing special, just a decent TV. (Ask me about my computer monitor!)

i have a sony trinitron in my room

there is an nec in the living room.

um, the sony is newer of course, but it's at least 10 years old.

the wega is a nice tv. but if you don't have the money, the next is a trinitron... vertically flat is still better than pregnant.

i agree, i like looking at the tvs themselves... i go to large stores like circuit city or j&r... then go shopping in cheaper stores =)

2 Sony 65" Wide Screen HDTVs (Living room and Family room)
2 Sony 36" Wegas XBRs (Bedrooms)
1 Sony 32" XBR (This thing has lasted me 10 years and still looks great!)
1 Sony 27" (Basement)
1 Sony 20" (Garage)

Can you tell I like Sony? 🙂

27inch Sony Wega

21inch Hitachi

Flat screen, excellent image, wide-screen squeeze mode (downsizes the whole 480 lines of res. to 16x9 format), a sh$tload of inputs, grey looks good IMO, oh yeah, and it's a flat screen..🙂
The normal WEGAs don't cost that much (FS12 and FV26 series). The XBR series costs alot more, I'd definitely get a Toshiba 40H80 before getting an XBR400...
