What brand of TV(s) do you own?

i think Sony makes some of the best, if not the best, TV's around. excellent tube, features and quality.

i have a normal Sony 27".
the moment i move out on my own, i'll will have that 36" WEGA that i've always wanted since they came out. hopefully by then, they will be cheaper.

Sony WEGA XBR 36"

Best investment for a T.V. that I've ever made. I made sure not to wait for progressive scan or HDTV because they were much more expensive at the time and I'm willing to buy another T.V. in a few years.

Reguardless of anyone's T.V., you should really consider buying "Avia's Guide to Home Theater". It's a DVD that helps calibrate your colors and your audio setup (you will need a tuning tool for the audio, but it does come with color strips for color calibrating) to have an "optimal" setting for all DVDs and T.V. Before I had it, I always changed the brightness for virtually anything, now that I have it, I don't change anything at all.

Rent it if you can, its at least worth checking out.

<< Why a Toshiba 40H80? >>

Because unlike the XBR, it's a true HDTV. It's also widescreen format, and actually costs less than the 36inch XBR400.

Panasonic 27" CT27G14...running fine, good image quality, and I got sweet deal on it so I can't complain. A decent TV for a dorm room.

I have a 19" BrokSonic I bought for $89. I've never heard of the brand before, but it was too cheap.

Panansonic CT-27D20
Pansonic 20" (forget the model # though)

I'll buy something HD capable when 1024p (non-interlaced) gets affordable. I don't consider $10K USD and up affordable...for a TV at least. 🙂

32" Sony Wega XBR400
27" Mitsubishi (Don't know the model and it doesn't work too well)
25" Sony Triniton
13" BrokSonic (Bought for my sister.. was only $40 from CompUSA)

I plan on getting a 24"-27" Sony Wega for my room when I have the money.. just wish they'd make an XBR version.
