It was widely accepted around my way that BMX bikes were the bikes of fools when I was a kid, that being said I never rode a bike anywhere so it was a waste of time and money for me.

Redline, pretty sure.

Left it outside my front houses gate in the driveway one night and it was stolen. We lived in the nice neighborhood but the poor kids would always come over from the other side of town.

Mongoose and Diamondback, I believe.

Dave Mira is from my home town.

Rad was the greatest film in the land.

Where I grew up, the name Huffy was synonymous with "low rent" or "purchased at Big Lots."

My mom won a nice road bike in a drawing, but my brother and especially I were too small to ride it, so she took it to the bike shop and traded it for a Diamond Back Viper, which cost about as much as a used car in her price range. Very generous of her, and I rode that thing for almost ten years.

I remember names like mongoose and red line...been a long time I had a real motorcycle at 9. A KX-80 then a KX-125 then a KX-250. Raced until I got too big.

No fucking bicycle helmets back then!
