I'm not good at listing genre, just check them out.... Try downloading from Kazaa...

Mercy Me
Piller
Supertones
John Reuben
Sanctus Real
The Juliana Theory
The Elms
Bebo Norman
Gritz - They all fall down

I can't think of one in particular that starts with a 'G'... Try this website under 'artists.' It's a great christian concert listing website...

Hope you like some of it!

:Q Evanescence is Christian? I knew I should have feared their Wind-Up Records label. Is that what Wind-Up is all about? Am I missing something here?

Evanescence specifically said they are not a Christian band even though they supposedly are Christians.

That's the same thing Creed said.

Well believe what you want. Amy even said in an interview that Christians may find some of their music offensive. The only song I know of with reference to religion is Torniquet. If you were wondering, it's about a baptist church where they lived that believed those who kill themselves go straight to hell.

i tried to kill the pain
but only brought more
i lay dying
and i'm pouring crimson regret and betrayal
i'm dying praying bleeding and screaming
am i too lost to be saved
am i too lost?

Yeah, I really like Jars of Clay. If you like them you also might want to listen to Caedmon's Call. Third Day, Delirious, Lifehouse, switchfoot, and Newboys are also good.

It's mostly on the second page of the article though...

You know what the worst part of that article is? I read that yesterday when I was over at a friend's house. I just started to tie things together because of Creed and 12 Stones being on Wind-Up Records and fell right into the trap. Thanks for the clarification.

What's the worst part of the article? :D

First new paragraph in the second column. The article you posted is dated 9/00.

The perception hardly came out of nowhere. Lee and Moody discussed their faith in some early, pre-Fallen interviews, which they now count as youthful indiscretions.

It's pretty sad that you would overshadow a group's musical talent with some aversion to their beliefs. That seems at least how you come off...

He wasn't overshadowing their talent at all IMO, he just assumed that they were Christian since they were signed with 12 Stones and Creed. Where did he mention anything about their talent or disliking them?

He sound(ed/s) pretty paranoid that they could be religious in some way. That said, I'm not here to flaunt Christian music or anything...I don't like a lot/most of it myself :p Just saying that a group can have talent either way, and you can enjoy them without fear of being brainwashed *eyeroll* :) 12 Stones, POD are good examples...
