I group Power/Performance/Utility as one in the same on my list. They are equally as important. Thats why I always go with rwd vehicles with at least six cylinders. I don't care much, if anything for technology in vehicles as I would rather have something simple and easier to fix should something go wrong. I also happen to be broke. I guess thats why I go for older 80's era vehicles like this one. Of course its always funny to see one of these.

Gas mileage, roominess, not too offensive to the eyes and ears, reliable...perhaps that's why I'm driving a Camry, as do most Americans. Sound so simple, yet GM can't figure it out.

All about the power ( liters, hp, etc)

its like buying a really good barebone and adding your own comfort, style, and other stuff. IMHO, u can make a car look good more easily than make a car more powerful.

Combination of Style/Uniqueness/Performance.

I don't care if the car is fast, but if it is fun to drive that's all that matters.

Example, the 2000+ Celica, a GT-S model has adequate performance, a six speed transmission, and a really awesome interior. The exterior is quite nice on the car as well, with a trim level for everyone. Personally I like the new action package (not the old one) that comes with 2005 celicas. The interior is what sells me on the car, and one day I might buy one but for now I'm happy with my sc400.

Does this mark me as shallow?

BTW-this might be why domestic auto-makers haven't been as concerned with interiors as foreign car-makers. I am the american demographic.

then why are american cars so ugly?

Man, to me that would be like trading down, SC400 for a Celica.

Eh, whatever floats your boat...
