What are your weightlifting goals for over the winter?

I have been trying to put on pounds over the past months and it's worked so far, but I continue to do it over the winter up until probably March or April.

I'm currently right around 200 - 202lbs and was about 185lbs when I started to bulk up. Of course it hasn't been straight muscle, i'm putting on all types of weight but i don't care because thats part of bulking up.

Anyways my goals are the following for the next few months.

Weight - 210lbs.
Flat Bench - rep 275lbs 8x and be able to bench 315lbs once.
DB shoulder presses - 3 sets of 85lbs 8x
Leg Squat Sled - 450lbs 6x
BB Curls - to do 135lbs 6x
Close Grip Bench - 205lbs 8x

this past week I did 265lbs 6x on the bench w/a little help on my 6th rep. I did DB shoulder presses w/85lbs 6x for 2 sets. I did 335lbs on the leg squat sled (not sure the real name for it) 3 sets of 6x. I did BB curls of 115lbs 8x for 2 sets in a row, and I did close grip bench 185lbs 8x then 7x the next time.

I've noticed slowdown on the strength gaints on my bicep and tricep stuff so that's why my goals aren't much higher than what i'm currently doing.

Also since my lower back still has some issues and it feels like 90% fine but not 110% fine like I want it to, I am not doing deadlifts or squats. the squat sled machine gives me the same feeling in my legs almost as doing a normal squat only it forces my back to be supported and straight so i'm doing that for now as a primary leg exercise. i'm also just starting a new back routine so I don't have a goal for back just yet because I want to get my feel for what I can consistantly do first.

Over the past year, I've dropped down from 175 down to my current weight of 152. (About 10 of that in the past 3 months once I upped my morning running to 5 miles) I'm looking to just maintain current size and leanness until after I buy a house and get settled in (another 2-3 months) and then probably bulk up after that. Goal wise - no specific numbers. My left shoulder has been bothering me for months, and even taking time off didn't seem to help, so I haven't been trying to ease up on going heavy.

Right now I am at ~145-150lbs.
My goal is to be able to bench my weight 10 reps, and one rep max of 210lbs. Right now I can do 145 lbs 5-6x and one rep max 170lbs.

i only say that because i used to be hardcore about bench press, hurt my shoulder and still can't do it with heavy weight.

i'm on vacation for the next three weeks and won't have access to a gym so i will have to switch to a lot of high intensity bodyweight stuff. i think it should be good enough for maintenance.

Nothing...I hope to maintain and actually cut some weight. When the show season starts up again, I hope to be a leaner 155lb, with specifically more definition in my shoulders and arms.

I probably won't do weights over the winter. I'm on a US swim team and we do some dryland strength training, but in general, wightlifting might do us more harm than good because we need to maintain flexibility before muscle mass. I'm not flexible at all to begin with, so I can't imagine how tight I would be if I started lifting. Plus, swimming itself is an intense workout alone.

I've always called it the hip sled or the incline leg press, depending on which machine you're talking about, exactly. It seems that there are some machines that do both, as well.

Why are you so concerned about bench? Bench is one of the less useful lifts. As for me, I'm going to be trying to gain 15 pounds and increase nearly all my stats, but focusing mainly on deadlifts, squat, cleans, etc.

Current weight: 163lbs
Desired weight by March: 170lbs

Increase dumbell bench from 170lbs to 190lbs
Increase squat from 225 to 265
Increase deadlift from 315 to 385

Learn how to to clean & jerk with good form. (I can do it now, but I know my form isnt the best, so I dont do it very often)

I've been on a cut the past few months. My short term goal is to get to 190 by the end of January, 200 by mid summer, 210 by the end of the year. Ultimately want to be between 200 and 210 with 15% bodyfat, 33-34 waist, 15-16" arms.

I have my entire year planned out, now just have to execute!

So are most of you guys bodybuilders? I asked my trainer about people who max out and she didn't make it sound like a real common thing or something that can measure success easily.

Anyways I just need a beach body so I don't look like a blob strutting around Bondi in my new Italian cut board shorts.

I'm about 184 lean right now. I'm going to bulk up to around 195+, then cut back to 190. I'm not terribly concerned with my overall "max" lifts or anything. Hopefully I'll be repping 250 at the top of my pyramid by March/April. I'm at about 225 right now without any creatine or excess calories. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't have a problem getting there. I also want to learn better deadlifting.

I want to go up from 229 to 235 or so and drop my bf % from 15 to <13. I also want to get my squat back over 300 and my deadlift back over 450 with cleaner form. Oh, and improve my cardio as well.

I'll be happy if I just maintain my current workout regiment throughout the winter. I'm 6'6 195lbs. So I'd like to gain more muscle. I plan to get some heavier dumbbells for Christmas, so I will be seeing a ramp up in my routine after that.

12/24 will be a big day, being Christmas and being on a Monday will really test my commitment (I workout Mondays).

I am just shooting for going from 26 to 15%BF and get down to 200. No care on if I am benching 200,300 whatever. Just looking and feeling healthy.

I've decided that I'm going to try and reduce my body fat to 12% or lower. Its going to be an interesting winter!

Wait...I just did a Google search for X-Factor and found a food supplement that claims to increase muscle soreness as one of it's benefits. Why would you pay money for that?
